Resumo: |
The aim of this job is the study of the assessment in on line education investigating the contributions and restrictions of the technological resources in this procedure. In order to achieve this, I analyse a lacto-sensus post-graduation course, e-Business, which is completely distantly carried out and focused on professionals in the IT area. The research method used was the qualitative.Study of case was chosen as an investigation strategy because of its addaptation to the objectives of the research: investigating the reality based on the concrete context and the one lived by students and teachers. The recording of the discussions and e-mail tools of the learning management system and a research envolving the teachers were used as data source. This project discusses which ones would be the bases of an assessment coherent with the principles of an education aiming freedom, so that on-line education can surpass the assessment perspective as a proofing information tool. The research shows that on-line education could benefit the execution of the student's formative assessment, leading to the individualization of the learning process, the social interaction and self-reflection. However, the technological resources can also be used to reforce an assessment focused on students' control. The procedures, criterion and strategies of assessment must be coherent with the pedagogical proposal of the course |
