This research aimed at analyzing the epistemology of neoliberalism, having as the main object of study the Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). It is through the consequences of the emergence of ADHD that we establish a relationship between the abnormality of attention and the recognition, by the American psychiatry, of the entrepreneurial behavior. From this recognition and its main characteristics, we follow the path proposed by Foucault of analysis of liberal rationality and its transformation, in the United States, in neoliberalism. We approach the epistemological question, therefore, at the level of rationality to link its emergence with a change of perception of the notion of temporality in the USA and in the Euro-American countries in general
