The purpose of this work is an enrichment of the third sector professional in the direction of the social psychology, inviting them to have another commitment with its cause, besides the techniques for fundraising and realization of projects of the organization to which they belong. What is being proposed here is a sincere approach of the individuals, on both sides. Therefore, a path was followed: The history of charity, the situation of the third sector in Brazil, the social-historical theory basis and studies of subjectivity, a qualitative research with focal groups in order to practice the proposed posture. This research does not intend to discover how to motivate a donor, but to understand the process that precedes that act, that is, what made a person want to dispose of a certain amount of cash in order to contribute to the project of a third sector organization. The purpose of this work is to deepen the comprehension of the subjective dimension, the senses and meanings of the act of donation of people that invest in social causes. The study objects of this research are the urges, the desires of the donor as of its social, cultural, and political upbringing, and their contradictions. The adopted method was the qualitative study, having the Social-Historical Psychology based on Vigostki, Leontiev, the micropolitics of Felix Guattari among others, as the theoretical basis. Two focal groups were realised for that analysis, the talking of the participants were later classified into categories on a dialogue map, and then commented, taking into consideration the theoretical basis mentioned above. The considered results are the dynamics itself that occurred in the focal groups, the baring of the participants souls, and the aggregation of more inputs for a next meeting with a donor or a donor candidate |
