This dissertation aims to study the human person dignity in the Military Police of São Paulo State relations. It presents the Military Police of São Paulo historical evolution, as well as discusses the understanding about a humanized Police in order to provide a reflection on the São Paulo State security quality. It seeks to question the applicability of the human person dignity in relation to the Military Police of São Paulo State. In order to reach the proposed objective, proceeded a bibliographical study and analysis of the data provided by the Military Police of São Paulo State, visit to the Prison Romão Gomes, as well as a brief empirical research with the Military Police
