Resumo: |
The professional identity process of social educator brings the marks of his non-formal educative practice and his relation with 'others' that constitute his educational environment. The study of the representations of poor student becomes an important tool to understand the identitary process that helps the educator recognize himself in front of the 'others' that are part of the professional relations at his educational field. This research aimed to identify the relation between the representations of poor student and the professional identity of social educators that work at non-formal education environment of two social institutions - one in Rio of Janeiro-RJ, and other one in Belo Horizonte - MG of a group of charitable Nongovernmental Organizations (NGOs) administered by the Catholic Apostolic Roman Church. From the rhetorical analysis of the semidirected interviews of the social educators from each one of the charitable NOGs (proportional 20 % of educators of each institution), the documentary registers and of the research diary of the investigator, this research founds the existence of a figurative model of social rescue shared by two social representations poor student and charitable NGOs that organize, orientate and lead the attribution and belonging of the social categories presents at the negotiation between the educators and other social groups of their social-education practices with the poor students . At the socio-educational-religious context of Catholic NGOs, the poor student is presented as the poor 'Lazarus', which is organized by the figurative model of social representations as the 'fragmented poor ' - economically, socially and morally - for his poverty. This will be recognized as the 'estegano-other, assuming the role of' masking the real social and educational demands of the poor student . Thus, social representations of the poor student and 'charitable NGOs', in the identity process of social educator, legitimize the existence of socio-educational Catholic institutions at the Third Sector and the creation of a 'professional iconidentidade' which reaffirms the importance of educators as professionals responsible for integration of the poor classes of society, through social and educational practices |
