The subject's understanding of an ethics seems to be one of the most basic assumptions for his understanding and effectiveness. As for ethics of responsibility, Hans Jonas seems to designate the political agent as the subject of responsibility and would thus exclude responsibility from ordinary people. Would ethics of responsibility therefore be a "privilege" of a small political caste? There would be different implications for the ethics of responsibility, when considering, as its agent, the common subject or the political subject. Knowing with certainty who is the subject of responsibility would consist in a minimum condition of the realization of that ethics as practical knowledge. As a matter of fact, this question, about how to give effectiveness to the ethics of responsibility is the object and reflective purpose of the present dissertation, which will focus on the subject of the ethics of responsibility. For such understanding, an attempt will be made to reconstitute, even if suscitantly, the philosophy of Jonas, through different historical descriptions, adopting a comprehensive perspective of its ontology. Using, therefore, Jonas’ perspective, for the construction of narratives that describe the development of the being, so that they may be used as a reliable and trustworthy foundation for the proposed answers, however, without shying away from personal interpretations and renowned interpreters of the Author |
