Resumo: |
This paper entitled Liberty is to recognize that we are in what belongs to us is a stud in the area of Social History, that searches to document the trajectory of fights, permanence, and resistance faced by quilombos (a flight local to negro slaves in the slavery period) negro remainders in the conquering of their territories. Negro communities formed by fugitive slaves have not always disappeared with the destruction of their quilombos. That is the case of Rio das Rãs, and Brasileira in the Médio São Francisco s region. This work aims to analyze those conflicts for the region s possession, the permanence in the territories, the flights, the ways of living accordingly to the cultures, and also the relationship among the members of the communities, entities, and institutions that permeate this universe. Besides this, the work also intends to explicit the experiences of solidarity kept with other negro communities from the region, their fight to the recognition and the legalization of the territory |
