Resumo: |
Studying Brazilian reality in order to recognize the specificities of our country, it refers to one of the main contributions left by Silvia Lane. Primary documents in the collection A Psicologia em São Paulo [ Psychology in São Paulo ] from Núcleo de Estudos em História da Psicologia (NEHPsi/PUC-SP) [Center for Studies in History of Psychology] along with its publications, allowed the comprehension of a committed work with social issues integrated with topics that expose the difficulties experienced by Brazilian population. The matter of indifference is expressed in most of Lane´s literature and it reflects her constant concern about the (res)signification of a path that, connected to the dominant ideas, succeeded in practices of exclusion and negligence. The purpose of this research is to understand the emphasis that Lane refers to the term as indispensable to explore human relations. Therefore, it´s through the paths taken along her academic life that the authoress identifies the immediate necessity of critical reflection about the subject presented here, recognizing, in psychologist´s performed work, the conditions to create practices that promote movements of emancipation and recognition of otherness |
