This research discusses sexual violence perpetrated against children and adolescents in a family context, highlighting the man as perpetrator of sexual abuse. Sexual abuse is a multifaceted public health problem that affects the health development and sexual freedom of the person affected by such violence, which is why it becomes essential to incorporate the author into the studies and investigations “scene”. Despite the protocols and the punitive instruments used by the Brazilian Justice and Security System, sexual violence has grown considerably in our society, mainly in the family context. Interrupting the abusive cycle is not an easy task, and requires efforts that goes beyond the political and legal fields. Thinking about the defense and protection of the children and adolescents that were sexually assaulted in a family environment goes through the man – author – dad or another figure close to these people. Given this reality, this research aims to appropriate aspects that involve the man/author of children sexual abuse in the family environment, bringing it to the discussion scenario, in order to contribute to intervention strategies in the service field that we can keep up with, beyond the penalty. For this purpose, this thesis follow methodological paths, including a review of literature and regulations relating to the subject, a database of statistical data of violence, and qualitative research through the application of instrumental questionnaires with professionals and scholars of the subject, from various areas. Even though concrete forms of interventions have not been directly accessed beside a purely punitive perspective, and with the absence of answers to some of the questions that lead to investigation, the studies and investigation that may be carried out make it´s possible to conclude, among others, that patriarchy, machism and concentrated power in the man/father hands are part of the social construction of this phenomenon, and implementing intervention strategies with these people in spaces/services for the execution in public policies is essential for progress in the prevention, defense and protection of children and adolescents rights, victims of sexual violence inside the family context |
