Resumo: |
In this dissertation we seek to present some contributions of photomicrographs produced in the 20th and 21st centuries to the process of transmission and appreciation of scientific, aesthetic information and values and their hybridizations. In order to do so, we will start with a panoramic analysis of instruments and techniques of capitation and editing that made possible the improvement of these images of science and their traditional morphological meanings. As a result, photomicrographs also began to be considered, from the second half of the 20th century, in their aesthetic character, contributing to the approximation between Science and Art. In this sense, factors related to the passage and consideration of the traditional scientific function of photomicrographs to a new aesthetic and poetic meaning are considered |
