Resumo: Objective: To study the language assessment instruments used for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and summarize their uses, indications, and limitations. Method: This is an integrative review with a ten-year time limit (2013-2023), conducted in July 2023 using the VHL database. The guiding question was: "What language assessment instruments are used for children diagnosed with ASD?" Indexed descriptors used for the search included “Autism Spectrum Disorder” and “Language Tests,” combined with the operator “and” to link the descriptors: “Autism Spectrum Disorder” and “Language Tests.” For qualitative analysis, Bardin's Content Analysis was proposed, organizing the data into five categories. Results: A total of 166 articles were found, of which 32 were included in this study. The articles were organized in various ways: by area (Psychology and Speech Therapy), by type (scale, test, questionnaire, protocol), and by categories (instrument applicability, area of knowledge, instrument objectives, age group, and critical discussion). Conclusion: The use of assessment instruments helps outline the profiles of deficient or qualified language skills in children diagnosed with ASD, aiding Speech Therapy professionals in the appropriate selection of therapeutic intervention programs
