Resumo: The main presupposition of this dissertation is the necessity to discuss the role of the teacher and questions resulting from the forms of their engagement in the private Higher Education Institution, considering its structure and organization. In this regard, it is pertinent to understand the institution's strengthening factors in the academic and administrative dimensions. The research aims to: Analyze an academic administrative management model from Private Higher Education Institution, having as reference the conception of management in the technicaladministrative and teaching context, considering the understanding of the guidelines, as well as the teacher's performance in a corporate organization. The methodology to be used is a qualitative approach, having as a procedure the literature review in order to clarify concepts that make up the selected theoretical foundation, considering the emphasis on the concept of management related to the area of administration and education, based on authors recognized for their contributions to scientific knowledge relevant to the object of this study, such as: Adalberto Américo Fischmann; Íris Barbosa Goulart; João Pinheiro de Barros Neto; José Carlos Libâneo; José GimenoSacristán; Luis Eduardo Machado; Marcos Tarcísio Masetto; Marina Graziela Feldmann; Meire Cachioni; MereAbramowicz; Michael Whitman Apple; NadiaDumara Ruiz Silveira; Paulo Eduardo Marcondes de Salles; Rodrigo Capelato; Sudário Papa Filho; Taiguara de Freitas Langrafe; TakeshyTachizawa e Vitor Henrique Paro. The document analysis complements the bibliographical research by referring to data inserted in public policy documents and institutional character, enabling analyzes relevant to the investigations carried out. The aim of this study is to contribute to the expansion and diversification of the understanding of the management models of Private Higher Education Institution, in view of articulations of knowledge that allow professionals who work in these institutions to identify the breadth of complexity of management in the face of academic administrative biases
