The objective of this research is to discuss the urban transformation process from Foz do Iguaçu city in the state of Paraná, from the experiences narrated and lived by residents in two occupation areas in the outskirts of this city during nineties, denominated Jardim Morenitas I e Morenitas II. The central purpose consists in the dialogue with these experiences to think in what way these residents interpret and narrate their respective participation on this historical process. It s still looked for pointing how this social experience is permeated of values, practices, speeches and memories created and lived by them on this everyday. It s discussed, above all, how these workers built and, in the same time, they were built by this process. To realize this work, it s ruled a dialogue with oral origins; especially declaration took from residents of these two habitation areas cited. Having these declarations, we looked for focusing people that, although participating actively in the urban transformations there experimented, have their importance reduced or simply ignored for a conjunct of historiography and memorial interpretation and narrative produced about this city in the last years. With the insertion of this perspective, we still sought to call the attention to the heterogeneity presents in the imbricate and conflictable social fabric that composes this city, and, the social and political implication of these constants homogeneity and harmony tries from its social memory(ies) |
