Resumo: |
The present research has as general objective to investigate how teachers of Portuguese Language work with textual genres. The specific objectives are: a) to characterize the training and professional experience of each teacher investigated; b) identify the individual planning before the work with the textual genres in classes of Portuguese Language, observing each pedagogical practice; c) to verify what language abilities are worked on in the Portuguese Language classes throughout the process of didatization of the news and the reportage genres, through reports of teachers about the work they perform in the classroom. This investigation has a descriptive-interpretative nature. The research subjects were six Portuguese language teachers of elementary education from six public schools located in the states of Paraíba and São Paulo. The instruments that allowed the data collection were the questionnaire and the individual report. With this study it was possible to verify that the pedagogical practice of the research subjects, within the scope of the teaching of textual genres, is based on interactionist conceptions and highlights the socialcommunicative dimension of language actions, in order to promote the student’s skills concerned to the development of linguistic discourse |
