Family Social Assistance Service and Basic Social Protection at Home - SASF in the District of Grajaú regarding the impacts of the assistance policy in its monitoring. For this research we adopted the oral history methodology by collecting statements. The interviews will follow a previous script, in order to raise questions in the narratives. In the first chapter we will cover the bibliographical references regarding Social Assistance in Brazil and its paths of Protection and lack of protection. In the second, we talk about Families as the centrality of social policies with the aim of moving towards getting closer to the subjects of our research and demonstrating the results
