Resumo: This research aims the understanding of principles and possibilities of the so called transmidiatic projects, by means of comparative study of the franchisings Tron (Steven Lisberger, 1982) and Matrix (Andy Wachovski, Larry Wachovski, 1999). The former is acknowledged as a pioneer effort in the use of computer graphic effects, and is connected in its genesis to the territory of vídeo-games; the last, is sTrongly associated with the consumation of digital culture, and is a mandatory reference for any transmidiatic project. The analysis of aesthetic, elements, narratives ressources, and the diferente products and marketing strategies associated to each of these production universes reveals convergences and divergences which allow a better understanding of the subtleties, as much as the industrial and creative demands which carachterize the phenomena of transmidiatic projects. Taking as a major theoretical reference the works of Henry Jenkins, the research also utilizes authors such as Arlindo Machado, Walter Benjamin, Marcelo Ribeiro and Lev Manovich to support the analysis and discussion of the subject. As a result, the work allows a broader understanding of requests involved in transmidiatic operations, making it possible to see how this still new territory of transmidiatic productions is under ceaseless movimentation, allowing the creation of specific products and strategies customized to each project s needs
