Resumo: |
This work intends to analyze the teacher s training in dissertations and thesis of education in Brazilian graduate programs between 1999 and 2003. Well known authors as André (2000), Romanowski (2002), Marin, Bueno and Sampaio (2005) have been interested in integrative reviews of educational knowledge. The main questions that have guided the present research are: what are the topics in the studies on teacher s training? Which are the kinds of research used in these studies? Which are the techniques of data collection more used in these researches? Which are the authors who support these researches? This study also intends to compare the results found by André (2000) between 1990 and 1998 in order to verify if the trends remain the same as far as privileged aspects, emergent aspects and forgotten aspects. The summaries of the dissertations and thesis were examined throughout the following key-words: "teacher s training", "teacher s initial training", "in service teacher s training", "pedagogical training", teacher for child literacy , teacher s practice , "teacher s representation", "teacher", "teacher s work condition", and "teacher s identity". The summaries have been initially classified in three subjects: initial training, continuing training and professional identity and development, in order to compare the results with the previous analyses. In the nineties, 6% of the amount of dissertations and thesis of the educational area focused in teacher s training. In the next decade, the numbers increased to 14% of the total, which shows the student interest growth for the subject. The biggest concentration of graduation programs and research lines on teacher s training continues in the Southeastern Region of Brazil, specially in the State of São Paulo, where is located 47% of the national researches. The subjects studied in the dissertations and thesis of the nineties and the following decade shows a great change. If in the nineties the great majority of the research focused on teacher s initial training, in the next years the researches showed interested in professorial identity and development. The methodology also changed: in the nineties the micro-studies were more frequent, in the next decade the statement analysis is the majority. In the nineties and twenties some topics still remain absent from the researches as the political dimension of the teacher s training, training teachers to act in social movements, in the rural education, in the indian education and ONGs; the professional associations, topics of salary and career |
