Resumo: Skin aging is a global concern, especially with the increase in the elderly population, both in developed and emerging countries. In medical practice, there are several techniques to restore patients' self-esteem and include the use of PLLA (poly-l-lactic acid). Justification: Review the main articles and evaluate the use of Poly-l-lactic acid in the practical life of dermatologists and plastic surgeons. Objective: To evaluate the relationship between dermatologists and plastic surgeons with the demand for pressure for youth and aesthetic exaggerations and the correlation with the use of PLLA in clinical practice. Methodology: An exploratory evaluation was carried out, using a multiplechoice questionnaire, to understand the relationship with the practical application of the biostimulator by the dermatologist and plastic surgeon, with specialist title from the respective Brazilian Societies. The questionnaire aims to understand the choice of product dilutions, the method of application, the use of anesthetic in its reconstitution and the degree of satisfaction of both professionals and patients. Results obtained: Obtaining subsidies to assist in future conduct in PLLA clinical practice. Partial Conclusion: The use of biostimulators is part of the therapeutic arsenal of dermatologists and plastic surgeons, but the standardization of use still needs to be established. The satisfaction of patients and doctors with results indicates good performance and safety of this practice
