Resumo: This thesis is part of the research line text and speech in the oral and written modalities of the Program of Graduate Studies in Portuguese Language of the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo. Its theme is the study of the enunciative responsibility in texts of Portuguese Language teachers of the Sacred Education Network with regard to the institutional teaching profile. The research is justified by the importance of educators acting in accordance with the institutional philosophy, in their pastoral area, expressed in their values, vision and mission. Our hypothesis is that there is a variation in terms of the assumption or not of the declarative responsibility. Based on this hypothesis, we established the following research questions: 1) Do Portuguese Language teachers assume or not the enunciative responsibility in the manifestation of what they consider to be the teaching profile of the Network? 2) What are the linguistic marks that allow us to identify the assumption or not of enunciative responsibility by Portuguese Language teachers of the Sacred Network? In order to answer these questions, we have defined as a general objective of this study to reflect on the assumption or not of the enunciative responsibility of Portuguese Language teachers in relation to the Profile of the Catholic Clelian educator and, as specific objectives, to identify, describe, analyze and discuss linguistic marks which reveal the (non) assumption of responsibility. The corpus is constituted by what we consider two texts: (1) Profile of the Catholic Clelian educator composed of 29 items, and (2) 22 responses of the educators of the area of Portuguese Language to the survey conducted by the Sacred Education Network. The results indicate that there is a variation in terms of assuming or not of the declarative responsibility. By the marks of (non) assumption of the enunciative responsibility observed, we verified, in text 1, a greater degree of declarative responsibility, and in text 2, a minor occurrence of assumption, as well as presence of non-assumption
