In this work, ideas about humanization of robots are addressed, focusing on the case of Sophia, one of the robots from Hanson Robotics. Therefore, studies, inventions, techniques and production methods that permeate the field of robotics and artificial intelligence research were considered. It was found that with the widespread use of electricity, from the beginning of the 10th century, and the advent of Artificial Intelligence, there were searches to produce and reproduce robots, leading to a journey that often reflects humanity's quest for knowledge of itself and now through its creation
