Resumo: The dissertation deals with counseling couples and pre or post nuptial situations, with a view to avoiding divorce in Renewed Baptist communities. In this sense, it analyzes divorce and pastoral demands for pre- and post-nuptial counseling and the issue of increased divorce among couples in the ecclesial community. Conducts a field research regarding the incidence of divorce in Batista communities, one in Ribeirão Pires, another in São Bernardo and another in São Paulo. It addresses pre- and post-nuptial counseling as a pastoral practice in renewed Baptist communities, as well as the necessary pastoral qualification for pre- and post-nuptial counseling, with the contribution of the search for theological-pastoral reflection. For that, it proposes the see-judge-act method as the methodological itinerary of chapters two to four. The perspective of TO SEE deals with the changing conjugal union. Based on the sociological analyzes of Zygmunt Bauman, it analyzes the liquidity of relationships in changing seasons and the reality of divorced couples and family recompositions according to statistical data, and, above all, the importance of pre and post nuptial counseling as prevention and healing of wounds conjugal. In this line, it distinguishes between counseling and spiritual guidance and between counseling and spiritual direction. The TO JUDGE perspective analyzes marital pastoral discernment in the theological-normative-pastoral dimensions, and, in this perspective, analyzes the relationship between conjugality and counseling according to the tradition of Jesus, between conjugality and counseling according to the Renewed Baptist tradition and between conjugality and the counseling according to Catholic tradition, considering the role of conscience in its relationship with Tradition. Finally, it presents the systematic of pastoral TO ACT with regard to the role of the counselor in marital crises and the counselor in the face of new models of families, their preparation and theological-pastoral updating. Finally, it introduces the dissertation proposal, which is the pastoral counseling program for pre- and post-nuptial couples in the Baptist community
