Resumo: This research aims to explore the methodologies and policies of “life projects” that enter the pedagogical practices of socio-education and other public policies aimed at youth. We rely, therefore, on the literature review on this topic, specifically the works that discuss childhood and youth policies in its protective aspect, norms and technical notebooks guiding the professionals of socio-education and the critical works of Jacques Donzelot and Eduardo Rezende Melo. Through the field diary we bring the experiences lived by the teenagers in contact with the projective logic, especially an artistic group of black teenagers that gains a cultural incentive for the development of their project. Analyzing the experience with teenagers, we found some important fields, such as the “quebrada”, the games between inside and outside, and the “manifesto manifestante”. Based on the notes of Luiz Rufino, bell hooks, Vicentin, Deleuze and Guattari, we understand that between the projective and the independent extend these playful and dancing manifestos, crossroads (cruzo) and practices of vadiação to confront the colonial load constantly pushed to these teenagers as disenchantment and death, creating transgressions expressed in the body as inventive affirmations of life
