Resumo: |
This thesis problematize the idea of humanism from the theoretical and philosophical point of view, seeking to understand how this concept is found in the social sciences. At the same time, it will work on concepts of nature and technique, reflecting on the limits of human thought as well as the sciences. These three meta-themes are worked as tensions. Considering the current context of scarcity of natural resources and the search for new technologies, we are led to the idea of a man who feels totally capable and responsible for controlling and solving his future, owner of his destiny, producer of truths. Thinking about the finitude and the limits of human action helps us understand this relationship and think about the place that man puts up in relation to nature. The intertwining of nature, humanism and technique will bring a reflection on contemporary values and ideals, and how they are based in the social sciences, considering their future developments and impacts |
