Resumo: |
The present dissertation investigates the process of production of sens and the procedures of construction of Amazonia simulacre in advertising texts of the printed Brazilian media, analyzing how the attributes and axiologies are installed thematic and figuratively, while strategy of marketing communication as stimulus of the products consumption. For so much, we proceed from the assumption that the Amazonia expressed in the newspapers, in the capes of magazine, in the programs of television, in the cinema, in the documentaries and, more specifically, in the advertising announcements, evokes a series of simulacres previously produced by the texts of the culture (of the reports of the travelers, of the painting, of the literature, of the legends, etc.) and once they are projected by the media, reiterates a values system stereotypes - that determines the way that these announcements enunciataries position themselves regarding the region. The dissertation corpus is composed by two campaigns and two detached announcements and took into account as cutting out criteria, the presence of Amazonia in the printed national media, in the last five years. Through the analyses it is possible to notice that Amazonia is reduced to the approach of exotic place, like an elsewhere to be explored and revealed by a new consumer-conqueror. Inside this reduction there are installed images that constantly evoke to his natural resources: the rainforest, the aquatic world, the fauna and flora. Nevertheless, these ads also incorporate some legends and traditions that treat the Amazonia, disqualifying, for the constant and repetitive use of themes and figurativities without, however, comprise all of his potentialities. As base to this research we use the discursive semiotics developed by A.J.Greimas and his collaborators, in special, in the concepts of figurativity and thematization. For the homologations between figurative dimension and plastic dimension and the analysis of his organizations, beside the postulations of the generative distance of sense, we rest on the propositions of the plastic semiotics of J.-M. Floch and in the directions of Eric Landowski's sociosemiotics |
