Resumo: The general objective of this thesis is to deepen the impact of technological advances, the accumulation of data and the implementations of Artificial Intelligence will have on humans, especially, in relation to the freedom of each individual, and the collective consequences within the technicist logic that, in general, abdicates of ethics, permeated by the bias of instrumental reason. As a justification of this work is to evaluate the impact of technologies, the internet of things - present in smartphones, for being a reality coupled to the human, significantly changing our view of the world and our relationships. The motivation of this work is to philosophically analyze technological issues and post questions with a critical content aimed at the consequence of these transformations in the future of humanity. The problematizing question of the research focused on the sense of information technologies, big data and, the processes of Artificial Intelligence with the implementation of machine learning and deep learning, are they “neutral” or not? The methodology of scientific research is qualitative in nature, found in the bibliographic and documentary sphere, as it is based on previous studies on the subject, recorded in books, articles and scientific theses. The review of previous studies refers to a research in the period between 2017 and 2022, through the PUC-SP theses and dissertation bank, in the Intelligence Technology and Digital Design Department (TIDD) and in the CAPES Theses Bank
