Resumo: |
Due to the steady growth in use of mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets, in people s everyday tasks and the development of information and communication technologies (ICT) that potentiate the teaching and learning processes, this dissertation has researched the initiatives of m-learning in the Brazilian distance education on-line scenario. During the research the use of mobile technologies experiences were bibliographically examined in teaching and learning process. Also, a field survey was carried out with twenty five institutions from the pharmaceutical, academic, automotive, health, insurance and financial segments to identify how was its implementation, understand the profiles of learners (target audience), how m-learning is being applied, what difficulties are encountered, the results obtained and the investments to implement and maintain the m-learning projects. A great project of m-learning successfully implemented by a multinational company in the Brazilian corporate market was also reviewed |
