This research refers to the documentation of professors of higher education courses in the area of exact sciences, for the remote teaching of the concept of limit of a function, having as theoretical contributions the Theory of Conceptual Fields (TCF) and the theory of the Documentational Approach to Didactics (DAD). That is, it aims to investigate the resources mobilized by university professors and the associated use schemes, in teaching the concept of limit. For this purpose, the Reflective Investigation Methodology (RIM), specific to DAD was adopted, which is based on five fundamental principles, the first three of which are aimed at monitoring the research subjects in planning and carrying out their classes, and the two the latter are focused on the collection of material and digital resources used for teaching and the respective confrontations between the reflections regarding the elaboration of their documents. The delimitation of the research problem was effected by theoretical contributions, literature review, justification and research question, and methodology. The review selected studies that scientifically justified the research and data analyses. A historical and epistemological study was carried out with the aim of understanding the historical development of the concept of limit, the difficulties and obstacles encountered in the construction of this mathematical knowledge. Data analyzes were performed using different tools. The results showed that, for the most part, teachers adapted their mobilized resources from face-to-face teaching to remote teaching and developed schemes of use for them and by appropriating new resources for remote teaching. That is, one can answer the research question and achieve the stated objectives, by checking through the RIM how the two teachers created their documents for the remote teaching of the limit, knowing the resources they mobilized and what were the schemes of their use |
