Resumo: | This dissertation is about Interdisciplinary subjects in Mathematics teaching on final grades of elementary school, placing them in the Brazilian educational legislation and seeking comprehend, in addition to Interdisciplinary subjects concept, other important themes such as interdisciplinarity, transversality, transdisciplinarity, and, furthermore, some issues that teachers face in their practice. The Spanish educational reform will be mentioned, since it has been inspiration to the official document that contains the Interdisciplinary subjects in Brazil (PCNs: National Curricular Parameters), released in 1998 by the educational organization, which will also be presented in a part of the research that is related to elementary school, especially about Mathematics teaching and Interdisciplinary subjects. The investigation itself will have as a basis a qualitative approach regarding Mathematics teachers of final grades of elementary school and school counselors and supervisors. Some teachers' math projects and activities experiences based on Interdisciplinary subjects will also be presented aiming at showing that this type of work is possible and can be fulfilling, either motivating teachers and students or making Mathematics more connected to the reality. And, to conclude, it can be told that the results analysis can respond to the question which entitled this dissertation: Interdisciplinary subjects exist in teaching practice, even though sometimes they are there empirically only. |
