This work analyzes the form and content of two iterative web journalism sites: “Minha Notícia”, from iG, and “VC Repórter”, from Terra. The methodology offers a quantitative and qualitative analysis based on a sample of 205 news published in both sites, during the timeframe of 15 days (from Sept 1st to 15th, 2007). The practice, called “interative web journalism portal”, can be understood as the result of the merge of production and consumption: professional and non-professional journalists joined together. What was just a simulation of a professional work, gets reality, reinforced by a privileged view of the common citizen, typically just a source and/or an user, transformed then to a journalist in the analysis of the day-to-day reality.
