Resumo: Educative, governmental, cultural and academic radios have, already, built more than 70 years of Brazilian history in broadcasting. Nowadays hundreds are broadcasting from north to south. A group of them - that in the 90's included about 100 broadcasting stations, and among these, the oldest and most referencial nationally - operated by the decade and was referred to as a member of the educative radio system. Especially since then, most of these stations began to proclaim themselves public. And specially for the programming, comes seeking out and fit a profile of public radio. The purpose of this thesis is to produce a historical construction rescue of this group of radiophonic stations, since the advent of non-commercial segment, in the 30's of last century to the present day. It is to reconstitute referencial models, main lines highlights and schedules of these broadcasting stations along its more than seven decades of history. And this will also show, specifically related to programming, how Brazil is building its own model of public radio.
