Resumo: | The modern world differs fundamentally from former epochs by virtue of the comprehensive, transforming phenomenon of communication. Fastened on this phenomenon, political speeches, particularly when delivered over nationwide television, get across to everyone in a democratic manner by enticing and inducing voters into casting their ballots for a certain candidate or party. Nonetheless, amongst so many appeals, which one will strengthen me as a citizen? To which am I to surrender myself; with which should I comply? The present study has the purpose of providing the reader with a deeper and more perceptive view to the material presented on the free political electoral time, HGPE. The approach takes place with qualitative and quantitative insight, comprising a contemplative and critical movement toward the meaning of Political Marketing versus Electoral Marketing, and the understanding of how these concepts, applied to HGPE, would heighten or lessen the elements that build up voters into politicized citizens. |
