A pessoa do leitor/escritor: uma proposta de educação para o desenvolvimento de habilidades

Resumo: This research aimed to examine the positive practices qualifying reading and writing in undergraduate, that excel at developing the skills of the person of the reader/writer. Data collection for the study was done with students of the discipline Education and Children's Literature, Course Undergraduate Education PUCRS. In the theoretical framework, we address the issue of reading and writing as a commitment that must be made by schools, from an early stage of education to higher education, seeking, through established authors, list the benefits and necessity of qualifying the reader/writer in various school levels. The data collected in the questionnaire in the undergraduate students were qualitatively analyzed using the technique of content analysis of Bardin and resulted in the following categories, which are aligned to the objectives proposed by this research: 1 - Mediation of first contact with the Reading and Writing; 2 - Moments Relevant Reading and Writing; 3 - Awakened feelings for Reading and Writing in the Undergraduate; 4 - Reading and Writing in Personal and Professional Scopes. Data analysis shows good examples of positive practice in qualification of the person of the reader/writer in Undergraduate that has been made by teacher discipline, as well as the need for improvement in these areas students come to the course presented. And in closing remarks, we cover the highlights of this work qualification that is being done and how much is an essential approach in reading and writing that focuses on the development of the person of the reader/writer in Graduate Education, in other courses, and at all levels of education.
