This dissertation presents the mathematics Modelling with a differentiate proposal of teaching that, propose the student to be the agent of the knowledge construction, overcoming the difficulties with motivation and relaxation that mathematics presents. A research was made with a 7ht grade group, in a public school in Marau / RS, local authority. It was questioned how the Modelling can assist in mathematics learning, making the students like the subject, change their negatives conceptions of mathematics and realize its importance to daily life. The research hands a qualitative and descriptive approach to daily life, with the creation of Modelling. Observations of the developed activities were made. After the application of the research, an evaluation was performed with students involved with it, when the changes in relation to the mathematics perception could be noticed, as well as the interest and the motivation in working with Modelling.
