Resumo: This essay refers to a research developed during a social service master’s degree course at PUC/RS. This research aims the assessment of the sustainability forms that the Solidary Economies offer to members, with social politics. The recent transformations in partnerships have modified the way of life of the working class. The unemployment spread and precariousness of working conditions, especially through aspects like production reorganization, the implementation of neo-liberal politics, of globalization and the III Industrial Revolution, forced a great number of workers to look for other income sources. Among them is the Solidary Economy, which is a form of job and income generation in a solidary and auto managing way. The type of research is qualitative through an exploring study with members of two enterprises. The research follows the critic debate method and the technique used was an interview with the application of a semi structured application and data analysis was based on the debating literal, Roque Moraes (2007) is the main author. The studied groups showed some difficulties to develop their activities many time compromising sustainability. However, they also have ways of surpassing those limitations. Enterprises find constant challenges in the way for the economic viability, especially in the production process, commercialization, and credit access, among others. The way found to face and beat these limitations was through solidary collective work among members and cooperatives, creating solidary networks, opening the possibility of participation of everybody in the enterprise management, as well as partnerships. The social practice of the studied companies offered its members in come magnifying, social inclusion, especially for women, also contributing to the community development in search of a fair and just society.
