Resumo: |
This article is scope to address the social responsibility of the company committed to sustainable development, despite of it is right guaranteed in the legal system, are still incipient in our society as a concern of the community. There is no doubt that the State does not act effectively with the interest of community to environmental preservation, in which the company can commit to undertake social and environmental responsibility actions, but also serve as a resource for sustainable development, while achieve their economic objectives for partners and shareholders, because sustainability can provide a competitive advantage to be materialized in positive economic results, as the company to take sustainable development encourages consumers to adopt sustainable consumption patterns, as the consumers realize that company's commitment to production related to natural resources and maintenance of the environment for future generations. The company, based on the role of sustainable development should not only act strategically as mere fulfilling human needs, but also to serve as a tool to improve the quality of life and as a source of social welfare adopting the means of production related to natural resources. Therefore, it is proposed to balance economic development with the preservation of natural resources, as the economic, environmental and social pillars relate in harmony, subject to development. |
