Resumo: |
This research investigated the role of personal and organizational values in the construction of an individual project of career involving young students/workers. Such research is justified because of transformations that have occurred in systems administration career that showed self-management career as a trend, which, in turn, led to the need to understand how the specific characteristics of these young people are associated with the context in which it is inserted. Aiming at address this need, this study sought to understand how personal values, consisting of the set of judgment criteria that guide your life and your choices, are associated with organizational values perceived by these young people, to contribute to a career individual project. For both, we adopted the phenomenological method, a qualitative approach, data were collected through a survey or exploratory experience with the use of photographs, written accounts and groups of young students/workers divided into two categories: students/workers in career planning and students/workers in early career. In possession of the data obtained through this survey, we conducted a focus group to explore and extend these data. The analysis was made of the photographs from literal readings or realistic (denotative aspects) and subversive (connotative aspects) and the strategy for analyzing the data from the reports and writings of the focus group was the content analysis. The results showed that either personal values, as organizational values interferes in the process of career choice of young students/workers participating in this study, in order toestablish relations of complementarity and congruence and unilaterality between these values. |
