Resumo: In a globalized world, any organization that seeks to remain competitive must be prepared with planning tools that aids to achieve their objectives, Integrated Management Systems have been proven as a solution to guarantee sustainable continuous improvement and structuring an organization. This study reflects the reality of a company in the market of large rotating elements, bearings; with a diverse range of customers and markets to be served, therfore integrated management systems should have a well-defined and planned structure to comply with the needs of production mixed between series and custom products. Under this aspect, the Enterprise Architecture was found, with origin from Information Technology, it seeks detailed mapping and activities planning. Within the existing tools of Enterprise Architecture the TOGAF Framework was chosen for a deep study of process iterations, so a system of auxiliary indicators could be used together in a system of management indicators, provided by analysis of the Zachman Framework, to guide improvement projects. This study presented the analysis of the defects with higher degree of influence on quality indicators, whether in the auxiliary indicating the highest occurrences or as financial, with a reduction in the cost of non- quality. The defect reduction from projects led from those analyses yielded a reduction of 49 % occurrence in a sustainable manner and confirming the purpose of the research to make improvements while restructuring integrated management systems in a metal mechanics industry using the TOGAF architecture framework as an aid for process mapping and improvements analysis.
