Resumo: |
Modern supply chains have evolved into highly complex value networks and have become a vital source of competitive advantage. However, it has become increasingly challenging to manage and maintain visibility. An Internet of Things (IoT) application can help companies observe, track and monitor products, activities and processes in their string using monitoring to optimize storage, manufacturing and transportation operations. IoT technology can allow different scenarios in companies, improving the transparency of the Supply Chain and reducing confidence in the processes in order to impact their economic performance. This work intends to start from the results of the case study, make a correlation with the academic literature and synthesize as findings, compare the indicators and discuss the results through the qualitative assessment of the impacts of the IoT on the economic performance of a company's Supply Chain Auto parts industry, and thus, established as bases for future research projects. |
