Resumo: |
This paper deals with educational practices, a central category of this research carried out in music, theater and poetry workshops by the Batuque na Caixa Project in NGOs, CSOs, schools and social projects in the city of Londrina/PR. It is structured in theoretical and empirical research and documentary survey obtained through photographic records. The objective of the investigation was to identify, know and understand the actions organized and developed by Batuque teachers, based on their reports. It aims, therefore, to demonstrate that these practices, which occur mainly in music workshops, guarantee the teaching of art and, through it, ensure the formation and development of human beings. The theoretical framework is based on a humanistic and critical perspective of education, considering especially the contributions of Paulo Freire and Edgar Morin. The methodology used uses a qualitative approach, using interviews as a research procedure, based on a semi-structured script that conferred flexibility to the testimonies of the teachers and the Project coordinator. The questions were developed taking into consideration the following items: teacher planning, impact on students, presentations, integration of the arts, and assessment. The results indicate that the set of educational practices developed by Batuque na Caixa teachers guarantee the teaching and production of art, given that students have learned and continue to learn to play musical instruments, sing, recite, perform in a musical group, understand the elements that make up music and theater, as well as their use for interpretation and creation. These actions also enable human development when art becomes a means that promotes results such as effective teamwork, collaboration with the collective, understanding of rules, discipline, a sense of accomplishment and recognition for producing art and presenting its results, strengthening self-esteem, overcoming shyness, promoting an inclusive environment, and a sense of belonging to a group in which students recognize themselves for their potential. |
