Resumo: From the beginning of the 21st century, it was noted that technology started to present itself as the very fabric in which human activities occur and not only as something external or alien to society. In this sense, the use of resources provided by the Internet in electoral campaigns has acquired an increasing relevance, the formation of emblematic political scenarios that occurred in different electoral contexts has reconfigured strategies not only between candidates and parties, but between all the political actors involved in the electoral process. . The massive use of the new communication platforms has enabled new political experiences that can lead to broadening the debate to the political participation of civil society in republican issues. In order to understand the current dynamics of social networks with elections, this research sought to understand - in a non-exhaustive way - the main aspects and reflexes that an ultra-connected society can cause in electoral law, safeguarding and observing the limits of freedom of expression and sealing to anonymity.
