Resumo: |
This dissertation aims to examine and improve our understanding of the relationship between the results of measuring strategy implementation and a company's value. Studies that examine the connection between strategy implementation and a company's value are scarce. Some studies validate scales for measuring strategy implementation, but none associate the impact of strategy implementation on a company's value. This dissertation is structured around two integrated and complementary studies. The first is a systematic literature review, carried out undeer the support of machine learning using the Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) algorithm and artificial intelligence, aiming to answer the research question: How does the literature categorize, describe, measure, and address the scope and relationship between strategy implementation and a company's value? The second is a quantitative theoretical-empirical study using structural equation modeling (SEM) and necessary condition analysis (NCA), with the following research question: Which of two distinct models better explains, considering the logic of sufficiency and necessary conditions, the relationship between strategy implementation and the company's value? For Study I, data collection tools include the Scopus and Web of Science databases; and for Study II, the application of an electronic Survey to a convenience sample composed of executives from companies with operations in Brazil that have implemented corporate strategies within a period not exceeding five years within a period no longer than five Years from the date of this study. The result of this dissertation provides theoretical contributions to a field little explored in management, namely a joint analysis of the phenomena of strategy implementation and a company's value from the perspectives of sufficiency and necessity, as well as collaborating to assist companies in the quest for value through the implementation of the strategy. |
