Resumo: Intense market competition forces companies to respond quickly to customer needs through faster product development and shorter delivery times. Suppliers need to collaborate in the supply chain to achieve effective demand fulfillment. Given the importance of collaboration, this dissertation aims to investigate the level of Collaboration between Suppliers that are part of the automotive Supply Chain and what are the advantages and challenges of using the enabling technologies of Industry 4.0 for this collaboration. For this purpose, a literature review was carried out and an exploratory research with suppliers in the supply chain was carried out using the Delphi method, which sought the opinion of experts on the subject of this study. After presenting the concepts and factors related to the interview questions, the results obtained indicated a high level of agreement on the existence of collaboration between suppliers in the supply chain using technologies that enable Industry 4.0. In addition, some advantages were revealed regarding this practice, such as process efficiency, business synergy, quality, innovation and lower operating costs. On the other hand, communication, confidentiality of information and processes, bureaucracy in the formalization of collaboration, productivity (oscillations, drops, delays, etc.) and insecurity were identified as difficulties in the process of collaboration and implementation of Industry 4.0 technologies. This work contributes to the academy as it supports future work that aims to explore more about the topic for other types of industries and companies through shared knowledge and identification of collaboration between suppliers participating in a supply chain. Finally, this work contributes by showing the influence of enabling technologies on supply chain collaboration and helps companies that wish to carry out collaborative practices in their processes, mainly aiming at the advantages pointed out in this study.
