Resumo: This assignment is based on Edgar Morin and Mathew Lipman s ideas about thought. The main object of study was the conceptions of those philosophers relating to thought, think-well, relation with education with the think-well development. Lipman identifies think-well as the superior order of thought and proposes an education for thinking . Morin considers think-well as a new way of thinking that he calls as complex thought and proposes a thought reform . These topics were analyzed at question s light of the relationship that can be established, as much affinities as differences or even as divergences, among positions of those philosophers and of educational implications that can derive from ideas of both and the established relationships among it. To carry out what was proposed it was developed a bibliography research on those philosophers works. After selecting works it was looked to analyze and understand de authors ideas about thought and about think-well; it was analyzed the ideas of those philosophers and, finally, it was checked the possible educational implications starting from comparative analyze of both ideas. The conclusion of the research is a meaningful approach among these studied authors ideas, not only about ideas of thought, but also, in relation to a necessary educational reform.
