A inserção da sustentabilidade nos programas de pós-graduação stricto sensu em administração no Brasil

This study aims to determine how the theme of sustainability has been inserted into Graduate Management Courses in Brazil. To this end, we start with a documental analysis of the courses disciplinary summaries, through a qualitative and exploratory study using content analysis. In a second step, we sought to verify how this issue is being informally inserted in the courses through a structured questionnaire with five open and twelve closed questions applied to 40 experts on the subject that belong to certified research groups by Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico - National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq). The results pointed out that there is neither a systematic or a structured attempt to insert sustainability in these courses. This fact suggests that the theme is recent to the field and its effective insertion still depends on a better understanding of its strategic direction; this may happen because it could be just an attempt to be politically correct, without having a scientific delineation defined yet.
