When we talk about religion, usually we hear about dogmatic interpretations of faith, many times disconnected of reality experienced by people in their day-by-day. We wish to analyze Vinicius de Moraes poetry facing under optic of Theology of Culture to show that religious dimensions are in his poetry. His poetry describes, among other themes, the beauty of life, love, joy and also the sadness and loneliness. To reach this aim, this research uses the Correlation Method developed by Paul Tillich to think theology since culture and Correspondence Method that completes the Correlation Method in its dialogue with culture.
