This Work has the purpose to study and to point the occurred changes in the resume and the structure of the modular courses offered by the Centro Paula Souza, autarchy of the Secretaria de Administração of the São Paulo state (Brazil), analyzing the pedagogical and professionalizing approaches, from the promulgation of the Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação Nacional (1.996) and Decreto-Lei 2208/97. The research of field developed in this Work gave subsidies to trace a parallel of the practical professor and the teaching conception before and after 1.996, in the vision of the teachers who act in education technician and that they lived deeply, in some way, the studied period.
