The Communication Mediated by Computer (CMC) is understood as an interpersonal relationship via Internet. This way of communication reaches users who aim interacting and knowing people without the distance limit. Nowadays it is object of interdisciplinary studies that show interest in the CMC influence on its users behaviors. It is a study characterized as exploratory, based in data collecting through a bibliographic survey. Its objective is to reflect about the effects generated by the CMC diffusion on its users profile, besides presenting the Psychology contribution in face of the questions arising from the CMC use and discussing the ambivalences (gains and loses) of its use on the users behavior. It can be realized that the Internet users are turning the way of social interaction into an environment unprovided of space and time limits. Therefore, this work studies the new ways of interaction and tries to understand this new man, once, if the technology implies in changes, the individual changes together with it. Thus, the surveys to keep up with such transformations that have influenced the individuals and their new ways of relationship are motivating new ways of the Psychology contribution about the CMC study. |
