Resumo: This dissertation aims at reflecting on Mathematics Education at a moment in which the paradigm focusing on Transdiciplinary Education emerges. It focuses on pupils and their body, emotion, mind and spirit aspects. Under the perspective that everyone lives in a globalized world, where information is fastly processed day-byday, and where the computer becomes responsible for its accumulation, we hold this study of such technology as a strategy for an innovative education in the mathematical learning close to our hearts. Going through the real need of students using computers at school, the questioning if the use of such technology by public school teachers and the difficulty/resistence found in dealing with these innovations as a key tool for a meaningful educational achievement in São Paulo emerges.(AU)
