Resumo: |
This dissertation of presents an educational tool for simulation of the main mechanisms of propagation radiofrequency signals in external mobile radio channels by using the VisSim/Comm software (now called solidThinking Embed/Comm). The areamean received power attenuation depending on the distance between transmitter and receiver in the multi-slope model, the variation of the local-mean power around the area-mean, and the instantaneous variation caused by multipath fading are simulated. The platform has a multi-parameter configuration interface that allows the propagation of the signal as well as graphs of results presentation and the possibility of exporting the received power and distance values so that other analyzes can be performed. It is hoped that the proposed platform will be an important tool to aid in the study of large-scale and small-scale propagation in the external mobile radio channel, and will serve as a basis for analogous concepts related to propagation in internal channels. It also explores the concept of recovery of average power in area from the local average power through filtration implemented in the proposed simulation platform itself and through multi-slope linear regression. |
