Resumo: |
The aim of this research is to present a performance comparison of series PAPR reduction techniques. The analyzed techniques are based in selective mapping schemes (SLM), partial transmission sequence (PTS) and Walsh-Hadamard transform (WHT). Altogether, three SLM derivations are evaluated: SLM using maximum length sequences, SLM using Hadamard sequences and SLM using sequences with complexes values. This research presents, as contribution, a technique for reducing PAPR, which consist in a junction of the PTS and SLM techniques, henceforth referred to as PTSModified. Thus, a total of six techniques are evaluated in this study. In this study, there is a detailed description of each these techniques for PAPR control and also, is presented the efficiency of reduction of PAPR in each technique. This is done by study of probability density function of PAPR, acquired by computer simulation for each case. Further of PAPR reduction, this study also analyses the effect of these techniques in symbol error probability in non-linear AWGN channels. |
